If you get anxious in large crowds of aggressive people, do not go to the Kipling sample sale. You would have thought Hermés was having a sale with the number of crazed women lined up to get into the building. At one point the line was 450 people deep. And I can promise you it was not worth the hour and thirty-minute wait.
When I got into this sale I struck up a conversation with a staff member who told me that they had already sold 40% of their merchandise. And this was at 5 pm on the first day of the sale!! They still have a large variety of merchandise though; there are tons of different styles, colors, and patterns. So I’m sure you could find something that suits your taste. But if you were hoping to purchase any kind of luggage, don’t bother going because you’re already too late! To be honest I’m surprised people go so crazy over this stuff but the discounts must be great because it was an absolute madhouse in there.
Overall I rated this sale a 7/10. My biggest complaint, aside from the absolute insane shoppers, was the disorganization. Everything was just thrown into bins which were separated by the sizes of the items. And people were tossing things whenever they felt like which only created more of a mess. I’d recommend shopping their online sale before going to this one, you’ll prevent a lot of un-needed stress.
