This is the first time Sachin and Babi partnered with Malone Souliers for a sample sale. The sale took place in a showroom on 29th st that was spacious and well lit.
For Sachin and Babi, the pricing was a bit more complicated than last time. Samples were a bit pricier, stock not as expensive, and multiple items in stock got deals, where you buy 2 items and get a certain amount off each unit. There were dresses, gowns, earrings and separates in many sizes. The sample racks lined the back of the room. Fitting room was in the middle of the room with mirrors centered there as well.
For Malone Souliers, the tables with shoes lined the wall with the windows. There were 8-9 styles, but in a large variety of sizes. There were heels and flats at the beginning of the night, but the flats sold out quite fast. All shoes are a flat $195 (plus tax). Compared to a $595 retail price – we say – okay.
