The Clothingline Blowout Sale was a sale some would not miss, the lines in the morning were insane and almost impossible to get in. I went at about 2:30pm and there was absolutely no line. I see why people made sure to go early since by the time I got there, most of everything was already sold and what was left was damaged and stained. The good part was that nothing was over $30 with most items being around $10-$15.
Almost all of the items that were left weren’t on the correct rack so figuring out which item was from what brand took a few minutes to figure out. It was very messy and unorganized which was frustrating. Some of the clothes that were there were really a steal but many pieces were damaged in some way.
Overall, I gave this sale a 4.5/10, I didn’t find this sale to be worth going to but it’s possible that going earlier would have a better selection, though there will be long lines and it would be very crowded.

Clothingline is hosting the Halston Heritage sample sale for a few days just before Thanksgiving. You would be crazy not to attend this sale! Merchandise was amazing and the prices were even better. Halston is an iconic brand that was in it’s prime in the 1970s. Then it came back in the spotlight when Sarah Jessica Parker wore a Halston dress in Sex and The City. Who can really resist Carrie Bradshaw fever?!
There was plenty of beautiful pieces at the Halston Heritage sample sale. Dresses which retail for around $500 – $600, but at the sale, you can buy both evening and cocktail dresses for under $100. Shoes and handbags were on sale for $20 – $30. The selection was a little less for bags, but you can still find some staple pieces. We know Black Friday and Cyber Monday is coming up, but this sale is definitely worth a visit! Happy shopping and happy Thanksgiving!

Today we stopped by the Karen Miller sample sale at Clothingline. When I first walked in I was immediately impressed! There was plenty of merchandise, which was organized by size. While most of the inventory was quite summery, there was plenty of pants, skirts, and tops which could make the transition from late summer to fall and winter. I did notice some minor damages on a few white dresses, but there were other pieces of the same style.
It was only when I started looking at the more specialty pieces that I started to notice some discrepancies in prices. I had found this beautiful (faux) fur vest that was the last one. While all the signs said that outerwear was $150, the original sales tag from Bloomingdales showed the last selling price of the jacket was $124.99. Okay, so I thought it must have been a mistake. So I found someone who worked at Clothingline and asked them to let me know how much the item would cost, the tag price or the sign price. To my shock, I was told that the vest would be $150 despite to tag price. I understand that for the ease of selling the merchandise, all styles are generally the same price, but for them to sell a piece for $26 more than it was being sold before is insane.
We rated the Karen Millen sample sale at Clothingline an 8 out of 10. While generally the sale seemed to have great deals and plenty of inventory, the discrepancy in prices was ridiculous.

Today we braved the potential thunderstorms to stop by Clothingline’s MB Sample sale for Men. The sale featured different designers like Prada, Versace, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabana, Roberto Cavalli, and Tod’s. The largest selection was in shoes. There were four different tables all featuring shoes in different sizes. The shoes was a mix of your classic, standard loafers and dress shoes with some WILD animal print high top sneakers and blue Prada sandals (check out the pictures below, the shoes need to be seen…). Also, if you don’t see one in your size, check below the table as there is more. In the back of the sale there were a mix of different shirts. There were Roberto Cavalli polos and graphic tees and boxes upon boxes of Versace dress shirts all $35.
We rated this sale a 6 out of 10 because while it was empty of people and full of pieces, the prices were still pretty high for all the shoes.

Clothingline Sample Sales has their own leftover merch from all the sample sales they run. So, they mix it all together and turn it into the one day Clothingline Blowout sale. We arrived at 10:30 a.m., to the sale that opened at 10:00 a.m., and there was a line down the block. Clothingline is known for not having the best sales. What can people really be standing in line for? Well, they had a few key sales (ex. Theory/Helmut Lang) and then priced that leftover merchandise extremely low. We did an Instagram poll, and most of our users agreed that line was a waste of time.
Thank you to one of our users for reporting from the inside.

Today we had the chance to check out the R13 and CP Company Sample Sale at ClothingLine located at 261 W 36 Street. The R13 and CP Company Sample Sale was interesting. There was very limited inventory from CP Company and a lot of eclectic merchandise from R13
The R13 and CP Company Sample Sale had limited variety and merchandise. The pieces from CP Company were extremely limited to one rack of sweaters and another of winter coats. The sweaters were high quality cashmere but still the prices were too high. R13 had a great deal for their jeans, you could buy three pairs for just $150! While these jeans usually retail for somewhere between 250 to 400 dollars.
Overall, we rated the R13 and CP Company Sample Sale a 5 out of 10. The merchandise from R13 felt old and dirty. While there was extremely limited assortment of clothing from CP Company. The prices on everything, besides the jeans, from R13 were still high. The sizing options from both companies was limited to only smalls and extra smalls.

I’m not sure if the summer season and the sample sale gods are friends or they’re on the love/hate battlefield, but I’m having a huge dilemma. That is? I don’t have enough weekends left to wear these color block pieces I’m obsessing over at the JADE Swim Sample sale, located at the Chelsea Market (15th street and 9th ave). Starting today, Wednesday August 30th (10:30AM—7:00PM) — Sunday September 3rd 2017 (10:30AM-5:00PM) I suggest you walk over there if possible while reading, its a promised good sale, guaranteed and the atmosphere is so fun! Chelsea Market is the ultimate playground to shop in!
Lets start with our shopper PQQ- price, quality and quantity. The price list, super straight forward. Separate pieces are $29 and $59 for a one piece. If we were to compare retail prices? Their one-side Apex swimsuit’s retail price dives into the deep side of the sea, at $198, but now? $59! All yours! The Micro one-piece retails for $220 and the Chain Reaction V Neck one-piece, $150. Now, $59 for all! Also, the separate pieces ( I suggest mix & match) range in retail price from $75-110, and now selling out at this sample sale for? $29 !!! Insanity. I could not be more happy writing this to all of our shoppers!
Ultimate steal, right? I cannot wait for you to have first dibs. Even though its preferred not to try on the swim, there are dressing rooms in the back and I suggest putting it over undergarments to make sure you’re getting your right size! There is plenty in stock for all sizes, the white suits are seemingly running low, however every other color is in attendance. Also, the quality is undeniably beautiful, I mean we all know JADE swimwear as one of the hottest fashion competitors in the industry rated highly by InStyle Magazine. Trust us, or trust that toned gut you’ve been working out all summer, this sale is amazing!
Sizes run from Extra Small, Small, Medium & Large but it did look like they’re made smaller than average. The color palette that you’ll see is beyond perfection. The ocean blue, the strawberry red, the sand tan. (yes I’m making these names up, but i promise you’ll envision this exact color from this fun description) Then you have your super cool, “This is me not trying, I’m an natural” collection giving you LIFE with our favorite core colors, matte black, bright white and a really moss olive that if you ever get stranded on an island, you’ll be so in-tune with the color of nature.
What I love most are the styles, the sharp cuts that make an edgy yet curvy look under the sun. I know, groundbreaking!
Y-7’s first ever warehouse sale? I couldn’t believe it either, because it was executed to perfection! You can visit the Y-7 warehouse sample sale located at the original Hip-Hop Yoga Studio (Y7 HQ, 262 Bowery, 4th Floor, NY, NY) starting today Tuesday August 15th- Wednesday August 16th; and trust me when I say this, you feel the “namast-ay fly” aesthetic as soon as you walk in. Need I mention their too-good-to-be-true negotiation with the weather? I mean, the temptation to purchase a sweater on a rainy day like today from a vast selection of all-black comfy Y-7 sweatshirts/hoodies with trendy slogan designs?! Y-7 for the win!
But, lets back it up a bit, trekking 4 stair flights up to the warehouse; Y-7 definitely knows its customers, getting everyone to kick a sweat before the goods and glory sales. Ice-cold tea samples (RUNA) served right before the race to the racks is most definitely a well-thought-out refresher of choice, another check for Y-7. As you head inside, the atmosphere gets you bumping and flowing to the most popular genre of music in the U.S right now, Hip-Hop!! Yep, its pretty damn ideal.
I walked in with a mission, to get all the information on site on behalf of the ShopDrop team, and completely got distracted when I saw this Kanye sweater “inspo.” It was Kanye West in pretzel position, hell yeah!! Y-7 is definitely onto something, unique and genius! Lucky for me, there was only 1 small left, so I dropped everything and called grabs! Don’t worry, I took tons of pictures, just for you to see! I mean 40% off today? 50% off tomorrow? I couldn’t resist.
For the rest of the apparel, sizes range from XS-XL in most styles including the hoodies/sweatshirts/tour-style t-shirts, sweats, leggings and sports bras. The prices have taken a steep downfall from $250 retail to $16 or less in apparel and accessories (headbands, face towels, bookbags, candles, phone cases, beanie hats, pins). ShopDrop has you covered ! You definitely want to yoga, sleep, study, eat, netflix in this gear!
P.S. The best part of this sample sale is getting to know the brand! Y-7 established itself in 2013, opening studios all over NYC and LA and has been featured in all the best magazines, (Cosmo, Forbes, InStyle), including Vogue, quoting ” Yoga For People Who Put On Gangsta Rap and Handle It.” It truly cant get better than a recommendation from Vogue, you’ll be surprised how much of a spirit animal this brand can be for you when you shop their gear! Happy Shopping friends!
